Rooted in service.
Fighting for all of us.
Why did I decide to run?
For more than a decade I have walked alongside colonia residents and working families here in Doña Ana County. During that time when in public meetings and government rooms, I have watched decisions get made without the people most affected by those decisions ever having a real voice. I have seen capable, brilliant community members dismissed as though their experience did not count as knowledge. It does count and I am fighting to make sure government knows that and prioritizes their needs. I will not accept leadership that trades community health and wellbeing or environmental protections and conservation for short-term profits.
That is why I am here, to be the bridge between community and government, to lift up those voices who have been left out and disregarded.
I am running for District 1 for one reason: to Serve.
